Our Story
Our Story
From a seed of faith to a house of prayer for all nations.
ICC House of Prayer began as a humble gathering of believers with one unwavering conviction: God still hears and answers prayer.
Founded by Bishop Rev. Seth Mensah, ICC was established on the timeless truth of Matthew 21:13 — “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” ICC is more than just a church; it’s a sanctuary of healing, restoration, and divine encounters.
Under Bishop Seth Mensah’s leadership and a devoted team of pastors and ministers across multiple branches in the UK and Ghana, ICC has become a spiritual home to people from all nations, races, and walks of life.
From our headquarters in London to vibrant branches in Harlow, Northampton, Luton, and beyond, ICC continues to grow — not by numbers alone, but in depth, impact, and intimacy with God.
We believe in the power of fervent, Spirit-led prayer, in preaching the uncompromised Word of God, and in building people who build the Kingdom. Our Sunday services, midweek gatherings, fasting seasons, and youth meetings all reflect one cry:
“More of You, Lord.”
Our Mandate
A Heavenly Assignment. A People in Pursuit.
A Heavenly Assignment. A People in Pursuit.
At ICC House of Prayer, our mandate is not man-made — it is heaven-sent. Rooted in the words of Jesus in Matthew 21:13, “My house shall be called the house of prayer”, we embrace our calling with deep conviction and spiritual urgency.
We exist to cultivate a house where God dwells, speaks, heals, and reigns — a place where lives are transformed through the Word, prayer, worship, and Spirit-led fellowship.
Our Belief
- We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and that none may add or take away anything from it
- We understand and believe that the Trinity means- God in three persons revealed Himself as the Father God, Son and Holy Spirit
- We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and by Christ Jesus in His death and resurrection power, all who believe in Him can be saved from the penalty of Sin. (Rom 3:23)
- We believe that Jesus is the head of the body of Christ and all those who believe in his divinity and walk in obedience to his call. (Col 1:18)
- We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart. (Acts 1:8)
- We believe that every believer who accepts the Lord Jesus as their saviour should produce the nine fold fruits of the Spirit which include; peace, long suffering, patience, gentleness, faith, mercy and temperance. (Gal. 5:22)
- We believe that the church should claim and manifest the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit: Healing, word of wisdom, knowledge, working of miracles, faith, and discernment, interpretation of tongues, prophecy and speaking in tongues
- We believe that God has given us Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers in the church for perfection of the saints for the work of the ministry and to edify the body of Christ
- We believe the new birth, justification and regeneration are brought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ
- We believe the personal and premillennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive unto Himself the church and afterwards to set up His throne as King. (1 Thess 4:13- 17) & (5:1-11)
- We believe the ordinances of the Lord’s Supper. (1Cor 11:24-26)
- We believe that true baptism is by immersion, and everyone that repents should be baptised in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Mark 1:8 3:23)
- We believe in the laying on of hands and anointing with oil on the sick. (James 5:13-15)
- We believe we should obey the civil government except when it opposes the will of our Lord Jesus Christ as revealed in the scriptures
🙌🏾 Our Confession: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.”

Our Core Values
What We Live By. What We Stand For.
At ICC House of Prayer, our values are more than words — they are spiritual pillars that shape our culture, our worship, our ministry, and our daily lives. They guide how we love, serve, grow, and reflect Christ to the world.
Christ-Centred Living
Jesus is the foundation of everything we are and everything we do. We strive to live lives that reflect His nature, love, and power.
Fervent Prayer
We are called to be a House of Prayer. We believe that consistent, Spirit-led prayer unlocks heaven’s agenda and destroys the works of the enemy.
Unity & Family
We are one body — diverse in background, united in Christ. We cherish fellowship, honour one another, and build a loving, safe spiritual family.
Spirit-Led Worship
We worship in spirit and in truth, creating an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit moves freely to heal, deliver, and transform.
Discipleship & Growth
We are committed to raising mature believers who know the Word, walk in the Spirit, and impact their world.
Compassion & Service
We follow Christ’s example by serving others in love, caring for the broken, and reaching out to the lost with open arms.
