2. Do I need to be a member of the church to join a ministry?

While we encourage ministry involvement from committed members, some ministries are open to guests and regular attendees who are growing in their walk with Christ. Joining a ministry is also a great step toward becoming rooted in the church.

3. What if I’m not sure which ministry is right for me?

That’s okay! We’re here to help. You can speak with a pastor, ministry coordinator, or visit our “Get Involved” page where we offer guidance based on your spiritual gifts, interests, and availability.

4. Can I serve in more than one ministry?

Yes, many members serve in multiple ministries, depending on their capacity. However, we encourage balance to avoid burnout. Serving should bring joy, not stress. Prioritise prayer and discuss with your leaders before committing to more.

5. Are there age limits for ministry participation?

Some ministries like Impact Generation (Youth) and Children’s Church are age-specific, but most are open to all. We believe everyone — young or old — has something valuable to offer in God’s house.

6. Is training provided before serving in a ministry?

Yes! Most ministries offer orientation, mentoring, or periodic training to help you grow in skill and spiritual maturity. You won’t be left alone — you’ll be equipped, encouraged, and supported.

Who We Are

The Instrumentalists Ministry at ICC House of Prayer is the heartbeat of our worship expression. With skillful hands and surrendered hearts, we support the flow of the Holy Spirit during services, prayer meetings, and special events through prophetic and Spirit-led sound.

We don’t just play music — we minister through every chord, rhythm, and melody, creating an atmosphere where God’s presence is tangible, and lives are transformed.

Our Mandate

To provide a strong, Spirit-filled musical foundation for worship that honours God, supports the choir, and leads the congregation into deeper spiritual encounters.

What We Do

Accompany the Choir during all services
Develop Musical Excellence through regular rehearsals and training
Create Worship Atmospheres where God can move freely
Flow prophetically with sensitivity to the Spirit
Support Events such as revivals, conferences, and youth services

Whether you play keyboard, drums, bass, acoustic/electric guitar, or other instruments, your gift is needed! We’re looking for dedicated, teachable musicians with a heart for worship and a passion for God’s presence.

Rehearsals & Preparation

Instrumentalists rehearse weekly alongside the choir and receive ongoing spiritual and musical development. We also meet for special practice sessions ahead of major events.
